Who I Am

I am a Professional Organizer!

That is who I am and what I love to do. I create organization out of chaos. I can walk into a room and immediately spot the inefficiencies. Some people like to draw or paint, I love to organize. But read on to learn more about how I started on this path…

I am often asked the question, how I got involved in organizing. It is one of those things that I was attracted to as early as 8 or 9 years of age. There were a few articles in magazines as far back as the late 60’s and early 70s about how to organize your closet and I was drawn to them! I kept the clothes in my closet all going in the same direction and from short to tall, light to dark. The books on my shelf had to go from tall to short and be even!

In the early 90’s there was a home computing magazine we subscribed to, which isn’t in print any longer). This magazine had an article written by a professional organizer who was a member of the National Association of Profession Organizers. It had a before and after picture of a messy office that was organized. I was hooked! I knew when I read that article; I was going to have an organizing business. I needed to wait a couple of years, and finally, on my 40^th birthday, Organized Time was born!

I absolutely love working with my clients. It is so rewarding to hear that I have made a difference in their lives and homes, because I know I am also making a difference in the lives of their family, as well.

Prior to finding organizing, I found time management! Again, it was a topic I could use and teach others how to better their lives. That is what got me into speaking and I look for every opportunity to share my knowledge with anyone who will listen! Time Management is an ideal partner to organizing.

If I can help someone to better their life, work, and or family by showing them how to use their time and space more efficiently, I have done my job. And that is my purpose in life!
